1. pick a community or group you are not part of and you are going to be an ally for. Important: you cannot
be a part of this community include the following when discussing the group,

within that community?, What specific area of the community will be impacted by your allyship project?
2.The Allyship project: here you will include in detail actions that are reasonable and feasible for you to do
that will start your creation allyship plan for your chosen community or group
include the following, What tools could I use generally (i.e. blog, social media, posters, engagement in
community events etc.) in my work as an ally?, Specifically outline a project or plan that you can implement
in your future placement agency or your future work related to the community you have chosen. This
project could be to bring awareness, to develop allyship, to participate in allyship events. Examples could
include (but are not limited to) poster projects, planning and implementing information/education sessions,
organizing participation in rallies/parades or educational experiences. Be creative here – and create

How are surrounding structures and systems being impacted by my work as an ally?, How has my
understanding of my privilege changed as a result of this project?, Describe any ‘unlearning’ you may have
done with respect to what you were taught or came to believe about the community you have chosen that
you now know to be false. Discuss your assumptions and understandings of the individuals/community
prior to the project and now
