One of the issues that we did not discuss or consider is that of Multi-State Licensure.
Florida signed on to become one of the states that will participate in the MSL process.

The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) went into effect in Florida on January 19, 2018. The compact includes Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical
Nurses. At that time, revised applications will be available for licensure to align Florida’s requirements to those of the NLC for the issuance of Multi-State
Licenses (MSL). Individuals who submit an application before January 19 will need to complete a separate “upgrade”
application on or after January 19 if they want to be evaluated for a MSL. The fee for the MSL application is $100.00. For further information about the
