This project will take you through the steps of evidence-based practice (EBP). According to QSEN, EBP is
to “integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences and values for
delivery of optimal health care”. As a future nurse, you must embrace the spirit of inquiry mentioned
previously. After completing this five-part project you will have a better understanding of how this process
works and how it improves patient care.
Clinical Question – Formulate a clinical question using the PICOT format.
Resources – Search and evaluate literature on your chosen topic. Turn in a reference page in APA format.
