Impact of massive online learning on quality of education. The topic aims to interrogate how massive online
learning will affect the quality of education (Liyanagunawardena, Williams & Aboshady, 2017). During the
pandemic, all students around the world have to study online from home and all schools try to remain the
same quality of education. The problem is how to remain the same quality of education while the study
situation has changed. The main symptom is the decrease of quality of education from online learning. So, the
key problems come from both ways since students could not motivate themselves to do online learning, and students might lack of accesses to online classes such as internet, devices, or financial problems. Also,
schools have to adjust to all new factors and environment from online teaching to remain the same quality of
education such as adding more different material, providing more sources and accesses, and changing type
of method of teaching.

Thank you for highlighting the fact regarding the impact of massive online learning because online student
giving feed back will be limited which will lead to lack of communication skills and presentation. Online will be
mainly focused on theoretical rather than practical. Every aspect have good and bad so good thing about
online class will be flexibility schedule. Everything depend upon the perception of people how they will take
the online class as a good or bad perspective. We can not categorized directly good or bad to the online
The online learning industry and market has been growing very fast in the last couple of years and the
pandemic accelerated the trend. However, I believe students would still prefer a minimum of in-person
attendance based on what it represents for their social wellbeing and mental health.

I gather that you are referring to a deteriorating quality of education as a symptom of the problem. But do we
have enough data and evidence to substantiate that? Yes, I think one can argue that some studies indicate a
lack of motivation as an indicator of lower quality of time spent in online education. But please don’t forget
that online education offers the convenience of saving on the drive time, or ability to access class recordings,
etc., as the positive sides of it.
My point is that before you can fully focus on this topic, you should perhaps offer some examples or
evidences that support your assertion. Also, one may challenge the value of such a study in the post
pandemic era. Are you hypothesizing that perhaps some schools will not go back to face-to -face education?

If a quantitative research method is used, explain whether an experimental or quasi-experimental research
design is appropriate to evaluate the research question(s). If so, what is the experimental treatment? Are there
any blocking variables that you might need to include in the study? How would you address the issue of
extraneous variables in your design? Your response should be 250-350 words.
