Describe a time when you, a student, or someone close to you has experienced anxiety, either short or long term. As you describe it, assess:
-how appropriate it was in terms of age, culture, situation, and intensity
-frame of mind or environmental stressors prior to the time the anxiety manifested
-physical, mental, and emotional response
-ways that anxiety was deescalated (or ways that it might have been deescalated or prevented)
-how others may have contributed to either the anxiety or its deescalation
As you reflect upon this experience, determine how you might have better processed this situation at the Tier I, II, and/or III levels.
