You will design and then formulate a “sentinel surveillance system” for dengue fever using at least 10 references from peer reviewed journals. The completed
project will consist of using 11 Font (Times New Roman) with one inch margins and referenced using “Vancouver” style or the “AMA” style. The paper will
contain the following components:
1) DISEASE- Causative agent, symptoms in human and animals.
2) CITY/TOWN- Geographic location where the disease is either epidemic, endemic or threatened
3) VECTOR/TRANSMISSION- Identify known vectors in or near the geography and the strength of the role each plays in the transmission of the disease.
4) SENTINEL ANIMALS- Identify sentinel animals appropriate to the geography, disease and seasonality
5) TESTING AND ANALYSIS: Discuss the type of testing, frequency and the analytic methods to be used
