Choose three chapters of our textbook, The Houses of History. From the second part of each chapter -i.e. the article by a historian- quote eight (8) sentences,
each followed by a sentence of your own explaining how the quote relates to the first part of that or any other chapter. [For example, how does “Oedipus and
the Devil” relate to the first part of chapter 4 on “Psychoanalysis and History?”]
You will be quoting 24 sentences (8 from each chapter) and composing 24 sentences of your own. Make sure all quotes and sentences of your own have
substantial content and are clearly related to each other. [On average, all sentences should be 2-3 lines.]
You don’t need an introduction or a conclusion. Nor do the three parts of your final need to be related to each other.
