Paper details
This will be measured by submitting a summary sheet for assigned readings. This summary sheet will need
to include three key points learned from the assigned readings, one way that you will apply the assigned
reading to your personal/organizational life and one question you have on assigned reading material.
Questions posed in your summary sheet may be used to guide the class discussion that week, so when
there is more than one reading, please specify what reading you are asking your question about. Most
Summaries must be a minimum of 1000 words, double-spaced, one-inch margins, and 12 Points Times
New Roman font. The total word count for reading summaries is listed in the course calendar. The
summary sheets will be graded on the quality of key points and questions provided, critical thinking and
reflection on readings and that the entire reading was analyzed. Be sure to present solid content and
convey your message using appropriate grammar, syntax, punctuation, and language. See Canvas for
Reading Summary tips.
