Welcome to your Final Exam. For this exam you will be responsible for watching the movie “The Shawshank Redemption”, which is available on Netflix, Amazon Prime and iTunes. The assignment consists of 11 short answer questions, 8 of which are based on the movie, and 3 based on what we have discussed in class and what is in your textbook. This exam is worth 25% of your term mark. It will be assessed in a total of 55 marks.
This is exam is ‘take home’ and ‘open book’ style. The exam is open from December 2021 and closes on December 2021. There will be no extensions provided as this is considered a final evaluation. You are permitted to use course materials including: the course textbook, course lectures, course powerpoint presentation, augmented materials including videos and news articles. By using materials used in the course rather than random google searches, your answers will more closely align with learning outcomes of the course.
Please create your own document and upload it to drop box under the Final Exam section. The assignment will include a title page, a minimum of two pages double-spaced. All assignments will include proper in-text citations and bibliography, following the APA 7th Edition to show where it was sourced. These questions can be answered independently of each other, but must be written in paragraph short/long answer manner. Point form answers will not be accepted. The length of the answer should align with the value of the question. Follow instructions and you will do well. You are only permitted to submit your own work. Utilizing the work of another student or person is academic dishonesty, and will be subject to proceedings under the student code of conduct. In plain terms: Do your own work, you’re being allowed to take your final exam home.
